Male sex hormone produced by the testes and the adrenal gland. It is responsible for developing most of the physical characteristics of mature male. Also influences the secretion of hormones LH (luteinizing hormone (LH) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), which have an important role in spermatogenesis.
